Luckily with the help of fun games such as Minecraft we can practice building a Mosque and understand how the building process begins and ends, all in 3D space! Your mission is to build a mosque in Minecraft.

Group: Individually.
Learning aims: Improve Islamic design skills, creative thinking skills, problem solving, introduction to design through technology, conceptualizing building processes.
You'll need: Computer, Minecraft Game.
Optional: 1001 Inventions Book.

2. Look through the 1001 inventions book to get an idea of how mosques have looked historically. But don't just recreate it - think of how you would put a new spin on the design! Think of what a Mosque of the future would look like and need - keep this in mind during the design process.
3. Begin building your Mosque in Minecraft, which you can purchase for any device here. Use YouTube tutorial videos to help you improve.
